I’m SO EXCITED!!!!!

I finally found the way to post a video in this blog! Phew…. I did it!!! Cool!!!

(sori kalo norax niii…habis gimana yak… secara minggu kemaren gw gatek berat dan buta sama sekali dengan teknologi blog ini yak! dan lewat pelacakan hampir setiap hari, sekarang gw dah bisa aplot video di sini…. wajar dunk kalo gw tepokin diri ndiri geneee!!!! ciyeeeeehhh!!!!hwahahaha….)

Mataharikuh, I told you before that I found Vimeo.com, a free video sharing host in the internet the other day. As I took tours in it many times, I became addicted to it, heheheh…. I watched so many funny and nice clips there and I’ve already dug my favorite ones for my Vimeo site.

From the forums there, I found a user sharing his opinion regarding video sharing sites (THANKS TO HIM!). He puts Vimeo as the best from 15 sites. Reading his explanation stimulated me to compare and test the sites that attracted me the most: Ourmedia and Dailymotion. It turned out that I already had been a user in Ourmedia long time ago (so long that I have forgotten it already!!!) I just barely remembered that I didn’t continue using Ourmedia because I found difficulties using it and then gave up … (dasar gatek!!!;p).

As for Dailymotion, it has feature that I’ve been looking for during this time: UNLIMITED STORAGE! hehehe… I need it since my clips usually have big size (too big to be put in Vimeo) and moreover, up until now, I’m still lack of video editing skill ;p. Once I have it, I really want to store more creative-well- edited clips in Vimeo, hehehe… One more feature that I like in Dailymotion is: the clip can be uploaded in my blog easily!!! Finding this out, I made an account there right away, stored a clip, and exported it to my blog….. and the result was really satisfy me!!!! That was the way I posted a 35,398KB .mov file below!

Oops… I just uploaded 1 hour ago, and by the time I’m writing, the clip has been viewed 14 times, hehehehe… Wow… it has many users, eh?! FYI, from the review I read, the Dailymotion is a French made site and most of the users are French… That’s why you can see many French-speaking videos there…

Baiklah Mataharikuh Kekasihkuuuhh… aku akan kembali lagi padamu esok dengan video2 yang lain…heheheh…. taaaaaa….. )))

The video was taken on Dec 29, 2005 in a restaurant in Gwangju. I couldn’t help not to move my hands while hearing the guy sung and the audience gave the rhythm by clapping hands… (I had been tipsy that time). So was Pete I guess (my co-intern from Philippines), hehehehe….

The guy who sung was an officer in the bank which we put our accounts in: Nonghyup Bank. And the lady followed him singing was my co-intern from China, Pan Xiaolin. The bank treated us the dinner. As you can see… everybody enjoyed the party as the happy costumers.. hehehe…

One more, the video was taken by Mus (my Indonesian co-intern).

Yesterday I searched for a free video and photo sharing host in the internet. I wasn’t sure whether my choices were the best ones or not; I chose Flickr for photo sharing and Vimeo for the video. Now i’m still trying to be familir with those applications. Frankly, I don’t really like my current flicker page looks like I hope I could find some way to modify it. Also, I think the uploading limitation as much as 20 KB/per month is too small for me… (

As for Vimeo, I think it’s a a very user-friendly site! So simple and easy to be learnt by a new user like me ;p I like it! But again… I think the quota as much as 20KB per week is not enough … (c’mon…what do you expect from a free site, eh?!! ;p Besides, you can change it once you find the better one, right?!) There are only 2 clips so far in my vimeo, both of them are the scenes taken during Folk School ‘05.

Today, my boss is in Seoul… so I’m free from his eye! huehehehe… (hope he did’nt read this!) and I’m spending the most of time in the office to modify Mataharikuh Kekasihkuh..hihihihi…

Masih bergulat dengan flu… dan babi pake tomat gak enak ternyata… enakan babi pake kecap!

Yak! udah pinjem installer photoshop dari Ayoung, jadi dah bisa konvert .bmp jadi .jpg, ngecilin size-nya dan bisa masukin gambar di profile seperti tampak di kanan atas ituuuh…hihihii. Gambar yang sama dengan postingan di bawah, soalnya akuh paling suka sama gambar ituhh… ;p

Semalam susah tidur. Padahal kan eik minum obat flu dan batuk. Harusnya kan jadi gampang tidur yaa?! Eeehh… malah gak bisa tidur sampe jam 3 pagi. Untung film di TV masih enak diliat, America’s Sweatheart. Kalo nggak, tau deh kudu ngapain jam segitu.

Alhasil bangun kesiangan, jam 8:10!!! Langsung buru2 sarapan dan mandi, gak sempet masak buat bekal makan siang. Jadi kudu pulang deh pas makan siang. Oh iya, waktu pagi itu sempet masak nasi dan siangnya waktu pulang… nasi sudah menjadi bubur!!! Gak tahu apa itu karena kebanyakan air, atau karena lupa matiin ricecookernya…uughhh… Padahal jenis beras yang sekarang ini beras yg enak loh! Rada nyesel juga beras seenak itu jadi bubur…hiks..

Eik gatek berat nii… mo edit profile dari tadi kok gagal melulu… arrgggghh… putus asah! Lagian, kenapa juga setiap image yg terisimpan di komputer ini selalu jadi bmp ya? Padahal eik butuhnya jpg. Gak tahu pula gimana convertnyah! ugh! Yah… besok bisa pinjam photoshopnya Ayoung deh… cuma perangkat itu yang eik bisa pakai untuk konvert2 image.

Hari ini flu berat… idung mampet, ingus naik-turun, bersin teratur, kuping gatel, badang menggigil… uuugghh… derita gw deeee…

Padahal utang tulisan pada belum lunas… oh nooo!!!! Berantakaaannn!!!

Ehm… ini posting pertama di tahun ini, lama bgt yak! hihihi… sekalian coba-coba nih, berhasil gak postingan yg inih….

painted face

I had my face painted by Rosalie Zerrudo, a 2005 folk school participant from Philippines. I asked her to paint the pattern of sun shine on my face. As it appears in the above pic, it’s pretty cool, eh??! hehehe… I love it!

I remember when I walked around Hongik University area (in Seoul) with this face, everybody seemed to have an amazed look on their face when they were seeing us (me and 4 other friends whose face were also painted). As a narcist, of course I enyoyed it so much…. (YUUUCCCKKKK!!! kwakakaka…)

Anyway, good job Ross! Thanks a lot! hehehe….
